The reimbursement is calculated on a
tiered system which is based upon your percentage of NHS income
for the practice to total income.
There are deadlines for applications and these
must be received within three months of the first business rates payment being
due, in most cases this
will be 30 June 2023.
If you need a letter for your Rates Reimbursement Claim for 2023/24, a member of our specialist dental team will be able to provide a letter in the correct format required by the NHS.
Following this, NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) have now made it possible to submit your claim via Compass. If you require assistance with submitting your claim via Compass, the NHS Dental Service have put together a useful video for guidance, this can be viewed here.
If you're unable to apply using Compass, you can download and complete the ‘Application for non-domestic rates reimbursement' from the NHSBSA website, the form can be found here. This has been standard practice in previous years.
