With an increased focus by the Charity Commission on governance, and with charities facing unprecedented challenges in terms of fundraising and demand for services, ensuring Trustee boards are doing the best possible job has never been more important.
During the free webinar taking place on Tuesday 7th February, Stef Smith and Rebecca Frost of Lovewell Blake’s specialist Charities team will look at the importance of charities having an effective group of trustees, what a successful board looks like, and how to monitor the board’s ongoing effectiveness.
“Charities have faced many new challenges over the past three years, but the same issues continue to come up around governance and good management,” said Mark Proctor, lead partner for Lovewell Blake’s Charities team.
“This free online masterclasses, which is aimed at both charity managers and trustees, is designed to provide valuable expert guidance to help our region’s charities be more effective, more accountable and better managed.”
