The firm recruits a new cohort of school leavers, college leavers and graduates on an annual basis, with all embarking on professional qualifications from day one.

The firm is recognised as a ‘Gold Best Employer’, and in July it was revealed that Lovewell Blake was the only East Anglian-based employer to feature in the Top 20 of the government’s official ‘Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers’ List for 2022.

As the 2022 intake join the firm, the application process is getting underway for the 2023 positions.

Those joining from school and college start the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) whilst graduate trainees study for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) – onto which AAT qualified staff can also progress.

The new entrants are working in the firm’s offices in Norwich, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Halesworth, Bury St Edmunds and Ely.

“As a firm we are committed to training the next generation of young professionals,” said Lovewell Blake senior partner Mark proctor.  “It is always exciting to welcome a fresh group of enthusiastic young people, who have made it through our rigorous selection process into our well-regarded training programme.

“We work very closely with schools and colleges in the region to encourage young people to enter the profession, and to ensure that we attract the pick of the crop each year.  I wish all of our new entrants every success, and look forward to watching them achieve qualifications, and progress in their careers.”

Students interested in applying for Lovewell Blake’s 2023 training intake can find further details here. The closing date for applications from graduates is 23 October; the recruitment process for school and college leavers will open 10 October, with a 8 January 2023 application deadline.
