Lovewell Blake is proud to be one of the organisers and sponsors of the conference, alongside AF Group, Birketts, Brown & Co, NatWest, Norfolk County Council and the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association.
Taking place at the Norfolk Showground on Wednesday 30th November, the conference will focus on three main topics: ‘Trade – challenges and opportunities’; ‘Farming Carbon, ELMs and the Environment’; and ‘Water – flood mitigation and water resource use’. Three local farm case studies will be presented to bring the topics to life.
The day-long event will be chaired by Dr Belinda Clarke, director of Agri-TechE.
Lovewell Blake agriculture partner Chris Solt commented, “The Norfolk Farming Conference is a key moment in the county’s farming calendar, and will this year explore three themes which are central to the future of agriculture in Norfolk.
“We are delighted to be a part of the organising team, as well as a sponsor, and look forward to joining many of the county’s farmers for what will be an inspiring and thought-provoking event.”
Mark Nicholas, managing director of the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association added, “We are thrilled to present an exciting line-up of eminent speakers at the Norfolk Farming Conference to discuss the challenging issues of our time. The opportunity to learn and debate and to share best practice will keep Norfolk farmers at the forefront of competitiveness.”
Tickets to the event cost £72 including lunch and refreshments, and £42 for students. More details, and tickets, can be obtained online here.
